UK Government’s Committee on Radioactive
Waste Management
Work for the committee has involved helping with their
citizens’ panels
and public consultation exercise, by putting forward the green case against
deep disposal of nuclear waste, so that citizen’s panels could decide
their view.
Member of the Government’s Committee Examining Radiation Risks of Internal Emitters (CERRIE) from 2001 to 2004. (see http://www.cerrie.org ) This was a committee of experts which looked at the most recent scientific discoveries on the impact of radiation on health.
